I had three weeks to blog and I didn't feel like it.
But three days before my promotional exams and here I am.

I realized that my teachers are actually quite adorable.
When I told Mrs Yeo that I was afraid that I couldn't promote today,
and she told me "Won't la Dionne, you are starting to become more serious".
HAHA kjdkskajda pray and hope I turn that smile upside down.
I don't want another U for Biology.

I HATE CHEMISTRY I HATE CHEMISTRY.
I got 27% for my mock promo paper.
Holymotherofgod my paper was blank.
I couldn't even try to copy anybody's answers because I was sitting next to Mr. Otter and Ruofan and both their scripts were as blank as mine. HAHAHA
I was so pathetic that Miss Goh wrote "good" when I managed to write a balanced ionic equation I want secondary school chemistry back, haha Mrs Poon + A1 + NALDAC ohyeah~

:-) Miss Jacob's really sweet in a random way.
I received a messaged from her last night that said
"Hey how r u? Hope life^s treating you well. Take care"
Awwww QT right, bet she was touched that I messaged her on Teacher's Day.
And Mrs Lee texted Vanessa "56 whales stranded on New Zealand beach. I miss Whale Rider days. Karanga mai karanga mai"
HAHA Rawiri and Nanny flowers.

Ohman I miss SN.
Funny how all the embarassing times seem so memorable now

Like the time
Weiqing and I went up on stage in front of the whole freaking school to do the "che ling" thing because we wanted to support Shushien HAHAHAHAHA. I wanted to die after I tried because it was damn freaking hard. Terrible 3 seconds of fame, and everyone was like "Excuse me, but WTF were you thinking?!?!?!"

In Secondary 2 when we had to do a Bhangra dance in front of the whole school because we won the competition (thanks to Gloria and Cathleen and many recesses spent in the MPR2) hahaha and I couldn't remember all the steps so I was just copying Brenda so I was so much slower than the rest. I would later realize that all the netballers were laughing at me hahahaha even Jasmine. Spazzzzz.

When Jayme and I decided to switch pinafores for one period, and we were too lazy to walk all the way to the toilet so we changed at the stairwell. We weren't able to put our pinafores back on in time when Adrian Wong walked past and went, "Girls, can you change at more appropriate places" hahaha

Brenda and I did really badly for a math test and we were so depressed we went to hang around in the toilet literally. Hahahaha we held on to the top part of the cubicle door and screamed. Then we laughed till we nearly died because it was so absurd hahaha. Very therapeutic actually :>

And stupid Brander lied to me about which hotel we were staying over at after Prom.
Bra: "We decided to book Hotel 81 cause it's damn cheap compared to Ritz Carlton."
Me: "Huh.....isn't that like the place where people go for sex?"
Bra: "No, I went to check the website already. They have this special level for people who go there for sleeping not sex. Less than one hundred dollars for one night"
Me: "But.....huh seriously?"

Bra: "Yeah they will change bedsheets after every hotel stay one la don't worry"
Me: "Okay la....but IthinkIwillneedtobringspermicidesandasleepingbaghahaha"

I'm really tired from thinking now
And I really really really miss the netballers (and our juniors)
Michelle and I decided we will go back to play a friendly against them hahaha.
After promos of course

Goodnight luv :-)

I haven't blogged in quite a whileee.
Nothing much has happened recently.
Teacher's Day at Raffles was a b-o-r-e
Honestly, cross my heart.
Even though Teacher's Day at SN wasn't particularly memorable
(we took really long to remember what we did), I'm quite sure it wasn't this bad.

HAHA The good thing was that we ended at 9:30am.
That's what I love about Raffles, all the lovely little holidays we declare.
The SN girls dawdled about writing cards for our teachers
(I even took a picture with Glenn's face), and we promptly reached there at 11.
It took a while for the rest of the people to stream in,
but I was so happy to see everyone! Missed them so :>
And the teachers (L)

It's not really the ones that you are damn close to that you miss.
Because you still meet up with them frequently.
It's the people that you like but didn't have the chance to get to know better.
If you get what I mean.

But even though it felt like home, somehow it felt kind of different.
Maybe it was knowing I didn't belong there anymore.
I don't know how to explain it but it just is.

Studied with Limin at Tully's after that.
I missed her, haven't seen her in such a long while!
The photo she tagged me in was really apt,

even though we don't talk on the phone, and I always reply your texts late,
when we meet we always talk like we used to
Enjoyed talking to you, even though our conversations were damn sick HAHAHA ^^
-

Life in Raffles has been same old, same old.
Sometimes I wish I was in a different class :-/

I'm dreadfully grateful for Abigail and Keng Siang,
(HONESTLY THANK GOD FOR THE SNAIL HAHAHA)

but sometimes I just wish I had more classmates I can click with.

I guess 3/4Hope 2010 set the standards too high.
Hahahaha it was such a crazy dramatic fun angsty class with so much energy and laughter.
Every lesson was so wild, hahahaha all the acting like Whale Riders and singing Math formula songs out loud. (Miss those days, seriously)

Nowadays I'm just kind of waiting for my lessons to end.
Kind of sucks that my energy just wanes in class and I feel so dead

I don't do it intentionally. I try, but I just can't click with them.
Ohwellzzzzz, at least I have a snail and an otter in class ^^
and other friends I like outside of class!

Went home with Grandmaster Ninja.
And we were talking about how fake some people are.
It's true.
I mean there was fakes in SN, but in JC (I'm sure it's everywhere, not just Raffles) it really hits you how many hypocrites there are in school.
You have to sieve out, who your true friends are and who aren't.
I'm glad I know who my true friends are, but I feel so sad for those who don't.

I don't really understand why people are the way they are.
Humans are confusing to me.

I recently got back the feeling that I had when I was studying for O levels.
The excitement of learning something.

I actually really like learning new things,
but I don't really like cramming for examinations.
Kind of takes the enjoyment out of learning.

Note to self:
Two funny things to remember

1) Abigail Tay never fails to make my day
Abigail: "There was a bird outside my window eating a chicken wing. It was on my roof and it was damn irritating. So..."
Dionne: "You took a gun and shot it"
Abigail: "Yes...but I used a water gun to shoot at it."
Dionne: "HOLYMOLEYHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHWTH"
Abigail: "And it started pecking at my window so I punched the window"

Dionne: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

And I died.
Honestly there are lots of conversations that I have with her that are damn hilarious.

HAHAHA

Another one (can't really remember this though)

Dionne: "That guy there bought like a damn big piece of I dunno what leg"
Abigail: "Is it from a cow?"
Dionne: "No."
Abigail: "I know already. It's the chicken feet!!!!!!!!!"
Dionne: "No it's not chicken."
Abigail: "IT IS!!!!!!!!!"
Dionne: "HAHAHAHAHA HELLO! Chicken feet how skinny!?!?!"
Abigail: "HAHAHAHAHA OHYA. THEN IT MUST BE THE WING!!!!!!"
Dionne: "HAHHAAHAHAHA HELLO IF IT WAS A WING I WOULD HAVE SAID IT WAS A CHICKEN WING"

I should do this more often hahaha, memories~

At YOG Hockey:
Host: "Okay, I need three volunteers from each side of the spectator's stand to play Hockey!"
Three small malay boys go up.
It starts raining.
Host: "It's raining, so we have to change our challenge. Now....the challenge is *suspense* TO SEE WHO CAN FINISH DRINKING A BOTTLE OF WATER THE FASTEST!"
Three SMBs: "We can't....we're fasting"
OMG HAHAHAHA FAIL
The match just started in the end.

2) Kimberlyn points to (I know who) and says
"Would you believe that he is not fat and just damn buff?"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
"I think he was fat...then he train to become mus...No la I think he is just fat"

Things I am currently interested in:

  • Graphology, the study of handwriting
  • Kaleidoscopes
  • Getting my ugly Primary 6 passport photo back from Hong zheng. (I didn't realize he took it from my wallet I need to be more alert)

I realize I did have quite a lot of things to talk about
Goodnight (-:
