1. Blood is thicker than water (HAHAHAHA okay sorry this is an idiom)
   When you are tired and weak, all you need is a home with people you love. If life was a ship, your friends would be the company you have but your family is the anchor that brings you back to earth. Family comes first, at least for me!
   


2. When it comes to friends, Quality > Quantity
   I am happy to have made new friends that I can fall back on, friends who make laugh, friends who do stupid things with me, all in this short span of 10 months. Not forgetting the old friends who have watched me grow. Friends, I love you all and thank you very very very much for everything you have done for me, with me
   
   
3. Life is never, and will never be perfect or smooth-sailing.
   The secret to being happy is learning how to love what you have to do and don't forget that the best things in life are free, and how the simplest things made you the happiest person on earth when you were younger.



4. Always find room in your heart to forgive
   Everyone is only human (hahahaha actually I realized some of us here might be aliens but let's just assume) and it is only human to make mistakes.
   


5. Your mind is a magnet.
   Happy thoughts attract happy people, sad people attract sad people and the list goes on~
   You are the average of the five people you hang out most with. You are in control of what you become, so choose your thoughts (and friends) wisely!
   


6. We are not so different from each other
   Everyone has something to teach you and give to you, but only if you give them the chance. Receive with an open heart and .
   


7. You make choices, but in the end your choices make you.
   


8. Laugh at everything and nothing, just because laughing makes you feel good.
   Laughing at yourself works too

Girls will be going to university, boys will be going to the army and become men
Everybody will be going their separate ways, with some friends going overseas.
That's so sad.
We're all going to be adults in a few years time, and I still feel like a 12 year old

I don't want to grow up.
No more excuses for being stupid or screwing up.
Having to take responsibility for yourself and possibly for other people.
Being a mature and responsible adult is such a daunting task.
And I don't know whether I'm ready
But I hope I will be able to become who I want to be-
a good person.

Self-training with Hanissa, Khaing Zin, Yingyin and Yuhui today.

But hitting gives you blisters and blisters are painful :'(
I'm going to become good one day, just watch me!!!!!
Revelation of the day:
Hanissa, Khaing Zin and I always end up going to Burger King, somehow

Too funny already, hahaha I cannot take it.

On our way to the bus interchange,
Hanissa and I overheard two girls discussing global warming.
And we were like "We should do that too!"

Why didn't the Chicken cross the road?

After my dental appointment ended at 3pm today,
I had to cross over to the other side of the road to catch the bus.

But instead of crossing the road, I decided to walk to the next bus stop

When I reached the next bus stop, I decided to continue walking

and finally decided I would try to walk home from Kovan to Pasir Ris.

Because...

I felt like it, and I've never tried.

So why not right?

HAHAHAHAHAHA what I discovered was,

THERE IS NO FRICKIN' WAY TO WALK FROM KOVAN TO PASIR RIS,

UNLESS YOU WALK ON THE EXPRESSWAY WITH ZOOMING CARS

I decided I walked too far ahead to go all the way back,

So I continued on the footpath until I reached Sengkang, wtf.

HAHAHAHA by then I had already walked for an hour

But I was so happy that I reached civilization,

because there was so much, in fact, too much vegetation along the expressways.
(I was looking out for colonies of ants on the footpath when I walked into a low-lying branch)

But I realized I had no clue where I was,

HAHA the nearest LRT station was kangkor???

No seriously, what the frick is that????

and then I walked to the next LRT station which also had a village-sounding name.

I realized I didn't know where the LRT would bring me, the names all sound so obscure.

So I followed a sign all the way to North Vista Secondary!

I was so happy that I finally recognized a building,

and I took 89 home.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It was quite an adventure, I must say!

Felt like I wasn't in Singapore anymore, rather liberating and relaxing actually.

I climbed into some fields hahahaha,

but I didn't dare to explore the lalang fields.

Looked too much like a jungle, and I didn't have a phone

(didn't feel like bringing it out, too bothersome)

and what if I got injured right?

Quite rational eh?

Although I must confess the main deterrent was the gigantic yellow bug that was flying around.

But if you saw a girl wearing a "Team St Nicks Netball" shirt scrambling up slopes,

that would be me hahahaha

It was all good until I walked past this gate-thingy nearer to Sengkang.

And I suddenly heard barking.

I was wearing surround-sound earphones, mind you

I froze and I saw three stray dogs behind the gate.

I nearly died.

And you can be sure that I started walking a lot faster and turning back to check that the dogs weren't following me with each step I took

HAHAHAHA I can laugh about it now but at that point in time I was really afraid that they would chase me.

That would have been a nightmare

I think I might be visting the fields again,

haha but with a camera, company and proper footwear.

God, do the blisters on my feet hurt.

Ikea is where we belong.
I wore the "cape" all the way until we left.
I was about to buy it, until I realized.....

it was two bibs stuck together :-(
HAHAHAHAHAHA the bib was for the frickin' stuffed animals

and I wore it for hours without knowing.
The only thought I had that was close to realizing,

was "Why is this cape asymmetrical"
I was really disappointed

HAHAHAHA We carried Mr Otter (Kengsiang) everywhere we went

After OP on Monday (which marked the end of PW till forever!!!!!!),

I amalgamated with Abigail's PW group hahaha

and went to eat at Ikea with Abigail Emily Jonathan Priya Sheryin!
It was fun playing make-believe-

cooking otters for dinner, eating otters for dinner, waiting for Abigail to finish showering on a rocky toilet bowl, and calling our plumbers cause the taps didn't work.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Stuff like that.

But what I enjoyed most was being pushed around in a trolley by Abigail

I was shouting "GO MOMMY GO!!!!!" in a gay voice

and she went "ni gen wo bi zui" HAHAHAH

Vvvvv fun, I was trying to sneak stuff into our trolley without her noticing.

after I freeze my ass off in China!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reading the papers is depressing
Murder, rape, hit-and-run
No wonder they say no news is good news.

I cannot understand how a human is able to take the life of another human.
Humans have so much potential, but it's frightening what we can be capable of.
Can they not see that life is precious? And that it should not be squandered?

All these youths with warped morals,
looking for the wrong things in the wrong places.
Nobody seems to know the difference between right and wrong anymore.

"You must not lose faith in humanity.
Humanity is an ocean, if a few drops of the ocean are dirty,
the ocean does not become dirty."

On a much much much lighter note,
